Martha Watts is the creator of some of the most memorable hair styles and quality hair care products in contemporary cosmetology.  She is well versed in hair additions, hair coloring, and African American hair care. She has over 30 years experience and her talents are well known both locally and internationally.

Martha graduated from Wisconsin's Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1976. Then, beckoned by a career odyssey which began with her receiving her manager's license in 1979, she thereby opened a full-service salon. During 1982 Martha achieved her instructor's license which elevated her into a position that enabled her to teach at various seminars throughout the country. Through her participation as a VIP for the Global Hair and Beauty Show in Dallas, Texas and through her attendance at the Aveda Aromatherapy Congress from 1987-1989, Martha Watts was transformed into the talented artist that she is today.

Martha's philosophy is "master techniques with knowledge", and that she has through influence, inspiration, and education.  Martha has been taught by some of the finest artists that the industry has to offer: "Trevor Sorbie" and "Toni & Guy" of London have helped establish her basic concepts of hair and designs. While mentors, "Horst", "Bruno Dessage", and "Eric Fisher" aided in her personal, professional, and philosophical growth, relative to beauty and art. Thanks to her associations with Christopher Dove, The Councils's Don Shaw, and many more, she has become the success she is today. She can honestly attribute her insight and successes to all of them.

Currently, Martha is working closely with Avlon Industries and Syntonics in the areas of product development, testing, and educating.  She is also involved in teaching hair extensions techniques.

In the 1990's she was privileged to have photo spreads called "Natural Black Women of the 90's" published in Shoptalk, Modern Salon, Sophisticate's Black Hair, and Black Passion Magazines.
